Relocating To Our Area
A little about Calvert County…
The U.S. Census Bureau reports that Calvert County is one of the fastest growing counties in Maryland. Even with this growth, our County has been well planned and has maintained a small town feel and natural beauty.
We are a peninsula between the Chesapeake Bay to the east and the Patuxent River on our western border. Washington, D.C, Baltimore and Annapolis are all a close driving distance and we are home to many workers at Andrews Airforce Base to our north and the Patuxent Naval Air Station at the southern tip of the peninsula.
Our public school system is one of the top ranked in the entire state, and housing prices are much more affordable than the closer Washington, D.C. suburbs. Established by English settlers in 1654, Calvert County has a long and proud agricultural heritage, historic and popular beaches on the Chesapeake Bay, and is a great place to raise a family. This also means that quality early learning centers and preschools are in high demand. If you are visiting the area prior to your move, please call us and schedule a tour. You can hold a spot for your child with a non-refundable security deposit.
We are located in the northern end of the county, commuting distance to Washington, D.C., Annapolis and many large employers.
